1974 Porsche 911 3.0 RS Evocation - RHD - £79,995

Bure Valley Classics are pleased to offer this beautiful 1974 RS Evocation which has just been completed to a very high standard. Inspired by the iconic 1974 3.0 RS the car was designed predominantly for fast road & track use. Built from a 1979 shell with full turbo rear quarters & front wings, lightweight front and rear bumpers & lightweight engine cover to achieve the body style of the iconic 74 RS. The car was recently subject to a full bare metal respray in the striking period colour of Mexico Blue. The engine is a later 3.2 from a low mileage Supersport, now running on PMO throttle bodies with crank fire engine controller and front mounted oil cooler currently pushing 260bhp. The car benefits from a full turbo suspension set up with elephant racing suspension bushes all round & a full turbo brake system. The gearbox is the classic 915 with oil cooler. The attention to detail in this build is second to none with some nice custom features such as the through the bonnet centre fuel filler and the period race inspired interior with light weight door cards & carpets, period bucket seats & Momo steering wheel. This car is running & driving absolutely perfectly & needs nothing. Overall the car feels very nimble with precise steering and a firm yet comfortable ride. The 915 box offers positive gear changes & the engine pulls very nicely right through the rev range producing a very addictive exhaust note. Maybe you want something for the weekend, or something for the track, or even better something you can drive to & on the track, well here is your answer!
